International Vehicle Transportation
If you’re moving from Turkey to Europe and want to bring your vehicle with you, managing this process correctly is of the utmost importance. With Oregon Cargo’s vehicle transport service—backed by our fleet of company-owned transport vehicles, our expertise in international customs procedures, and comprehensive insurance coverage—we’ll pick up your vehicle in Turkey and deliver it to your address in Europe.
Why Is Professional Support Essential in Vehicle Transportation?
Although it is possible to drive your vehicle yourself, international customs procedures, registration requirements in the destination country, and the fatigue of long-distance driving often make this option impractical. Furthermore, some countries impose restrictions on the length of time vehicles with Turkish license plates can remain in the country. Professional vehicle transport eliminates these risks: your vehicle arrives in the destination country safely on a carrier, fully insured, and with the proper customs declaration.
How Does the Vehicle Transport Process Work?
Preliminary Assessment and Price Quote
All you need to do is provide your vehicle details (make, model, year, size) and the destination country. Our team will prepare a customized quote for you. The vehicle transport cost is determined based on the vehicle’s size, the route, and the preferred transport method (open or enclosed carrier).
Vehicle Handover and Damage Report
A comprehensive damage inspection report is prepared before your vehicle is picked up. Any existing scratches, dents, or damage are documented with photographs. This report serves as assurance for both you and us.
Loading and Transportation
Vehicles are secured to specialized vehicle transport trailers using secure fastening systems. Both open and enclosed transport options are available. Enclosed transport is recommended for luxury vehicles, classic cars, and motorcycles.
Customs Process
The customs process for vehicle transport differs from that for general cargo. A vehicle registration certificate, a vehicle valuation report, and forms specific to the destination country are required. Oregon Cargo prepares all of these documents on your behalf and manages the process through its customs brokerage services.
Delivery and Receipt
Your vehicle will be delivered to your destination address. Upon delivery, the vehicle will be inspected again and compared to the damage report. Any damage incurred during transport is covered by insurance.

About Vehicle Registration in the Destination Country
It is mandatory to register your vehicle in Europe once you move there. Each country has different procedures. Processes such as Zulassung in Germany, RDW registration in the Netherlands, and Carte Grise in France constitute the licensing aspect of the process. We can provide general information about these processes; however, we recommend that you contact the relevant authorities in your destination country for legal advice.
